Peter Giles, President
“At heart, I am a master storyteller who helps organizations better define and amplify who they are, what they do and how they relate to key audiences,” says the firm’s founder and president Peter Giles. “This enables them to capture attention and engage audiences emotionally, humanize their brands and ultimately stand out from the crowd. In PR, where the goal is often to shape public perception or behavior, storytelling is an effective way to connect with people on a deeper level, helping organizations shape perceptions and achieve their communication goals.”
For more than thirty years, Peter has been doing just that for myriad brands, from promising entrepreneurial startups to global organizations.
Early in his career, Peter honed his communications skills at top PR agencies, creating and managing a diverse range of public relations campaigns for blue-chip clients such as AT&T, McDonald’s Restaurants, Citibank, Volvo, Canon USA, Holiday Inn, America’s Cup Sailing, Wendy’s restaurants and Procter & Gamble.
Believing that he could offer exceptional results and client service without the high overhead (and pricing) found at larger firms, Peter launched Giles Communications in 1986 and has since built an enviable reputation in several key industries, particularly the music, arts, entertainment and technology sectors.
